Featuring Executive Chef William Holt

 

William Holt is a Chef de Cuisine at The Talk Restaurant in North Falmouth Massachusetts here he meticulously overseas the flow of cuisine from purveyor to service; including butchering, quality control and food safety.

 

Chef Holt started his career on Cape Cod working under acclaimed Chefs such as Bobby Gold at the Penguin Sea-grill, and Chef Dave Norton at the Benchmark, Sweet Waters, and Kettle-Ho to mention a few in the 1990’s.  Holt achieved his introduction to fine dining under Chef Bobby Gold as a rounds cook.  Then proceeded to refine his culinary skills under Chef Dave Norton as his Sous Chef and immersed himself in an made from scratch kitchen.  Under Chef Norton’s tutelage Holt gained the passion and appreciation it takes to become one of New England’s great Chefs. 

 

Chef Holt expanded his culinary expertise under Chef Chris Kelly at Cafe Nouvo in Providence Rhode Island in 2001 where Holt was introduced to different cuisines from around the world.  Chef Holt then went on to be Head Chef of numerous restaurants throughout Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Worcester, and The Boston Area were he perfected his take on classic New England Italian American Cuisine. 

 

Since the opening of The Talk Restaurant in Watertown Massachusetts in 2009, along with owner Kazar Keuchakarian, Chef Holt has been featured in events such as: The Howie Car Show, Phantom Gourmet, Fox’s ZIP Trip, The Big O Show, and ranked in the top 100 Chefs of New England. Holt was featured in Original Living Magazines 2018 Summer Edition for his consistency and focus on the finest freshest ingredients. The Talk was most recently awarded Best Restaurant for Dinner from Wicked Local Favorites Readers Choice Awards 2018. 

 

Outside of the restaurant Holt enjoys donating his time to local VFW’s by creating gourmet meals for there patrons.  He is a avid family man and values time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.  Chef Holt enjoys fishing, try to find him on the shores of the Bourne canal catching his next striper.
